A brief history on SPJST
SPJST was founded in La Grange, Texas, on July 1, 1897 by early Czechoslovakian pioneers. SPJST stands for Slovanska Podporujici Jednota Statu Texas, or the Slavonic Benevolent Order of the State of Texas.
