The follow is a wrap-up of stories in the news about Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans:
This week, potential presidential candidate Mitt Romney has been in the news for his stance on Medicare and the future of senior health insurance policies. He supports legislation which is geared more toward private health insurance for seniors.
AARP is speaking out against spending cuts to Medicare. AARP is a group dedicated to Medicare-age Americans and also works with United Health Care to offer Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans.
